What’s the timeline for the project?

The first part of the site will become available for new homes in early 2016.

During 2014 we will organise a number of information days, and begin the process of planning how the whole site will be used and laid out. The information you provide when you register will help us do this, as we will allocate sites to match the demand there is for the different types of self build.

Later in 2014 we hope to start the early infrastructure work – installing the key roads, service connections etc – so that the first self builders can get on site in late 2015.

Further phases will follow on from this, and the reality is that the overall project will take a number of years to fully complete.

If everything goes according to plan we will have hundreds of new distinctive and innovative homes built and occupied by 2018.
